I survived the first week of school! Being a fourth year isn't as hard as everyone says it is. I don't know what they're talking about.

When are Quidditch tryouts supposed to happen? I need to test my skills before I forget everything I practiced over summer.

It's going to be my birthday tomorrow! The greatest day ever in history! And we're on holiday, so ever better. I'm not limited to school hours to have a totally awesome party!

My parents were pretty impressed with how school's going for me. I didn't have to lie much or anything. If I keep this up, maybe Mom will let me try out for Quidditch next year.

I really think my dad's going to like the card I made him. I mean, who wouldn't?
